I just bought the 15 gallon Desert Museum Palo Verde. Its only going to get warmer here. Mainly the ones that are the highest. We planted it about 12 years ago after another tree had died in that same spot. However, at home, I have 4 Desert Museum trees. I noticed today that alot of the small needle size branches are turning yellow/brown and falling off. Trees grow 15 to 30 feet (4.5 to 9 meters) with attractive branching. To do so, would put undo stress on the tree, leaving it susceptible to disease and other stresses. I have three palo verde trees and have never seen a beetle in my garden or neighborhood.
